Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. At the age of five years old when she left for Oxfordshire and enrolled at an Oxfordshire-based Dragon School. Emma's goal was to be an actor. As a young girl of 6she was enrolled into the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch, where she took classes for acting, singing as well as dancing. From the age of 10 she was involved and performed the main role in a number of Stagecoach School plays and productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the movie version of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel began casting in 1999. Emma was found by agents via the recommendation of her Oxford teacher. David Heyman announced to Emma that following eight auditions they as well as Rupert Grint were chosen as Hermione and Harry Potter. Emma's first cinematic appearance was with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the year 2001. It was also the most successful film of 2001. Its opening weekend and day sales were record-breaking. Reviewers were awed by the performance of the film as well as its story. The well-known British publication The Daily Telegraph called her performances admirable. Emma's performance received nominations and later won awards for the film.
